Welcome to the culinary haven known as Nasi Goreng Kebuli Apjay Pak Ivan Panglima Polim IX. Tucked away in South Jakarta, at Depan Alfamidi, Jl. Panglima Polim IX No.18, this nasi goreng restaurant has become a gathering point for fried rice aficionados who crave authentic Indonesian flavors with a twist.
From the moment you approach this street-side culinary gem, you might notice its unassuming façade, which blends seamlessly with the surrounding convenience stores. However, don’t let the lack of flashy signage fool you; what awaits inside is an explosion of taste that draws crowds even into the late hours.
The highlight here is undoubtedly their signature Nasi Goreng Kebuli, which is a flavorful fried rice dish cooked over charcoal, infusing it with a rich and smoky aroma that elevates each bite. Customers rave about the generous portions and competitive pricing, making it a go-to choice for both late-night cravings and casual dining. Diners have praised the chicken version for being exceptionally delicious, while comparisons have been made to the renowned Nasi Goreng Kebuli Kebon Sirih. Indeed, many agree that the flavors here hold their own – if not surpass – those of more established eateries.
Word of mouth from satisfied patrons like Franzeska Yuli emphasizes the taste and value, stating it was the “best nasi goreng kebuli” she has encountered. Meanwhile, Tiza Izs highlights the aromatic spices that dance on the palate — a delightful testament to the culinary skills at work here. The casual, laid-back environment combines with the sizzling sounds of woks in action, creating an authentic street food experience.
While the restaurant offers a delicious journey through its menu, there are some caveats. Expect limited seating and the occasional long wait, as many patrons opt for takeaway through delivery services like Grab and GoFood. Additionally, being a street food outlet, cleanliness can vary, and there may be insects around, a common aspect of enjoying street cuisine.
Despite these small drawbacks, the love for the food shines through. With a distinct recipe that utilizes Indonesian rice instead of the long-grain rice typical in Middle Eastern dishes, the chefs ensure they capture the essence of kebuli taste while adding their unique spin. For food lovers who are willing to brave a bit of waiting and an authentic street ambiance, Nasi Goreng Kebuli Apjay Pak Ivan Panglima Polim IX offers a rewarding culinary experience that is not easily forgotten.

Best nasi goreng kebuli so far. I tried the chicken version and it was so yummy and tasty! Portion was big and price was reasonable. Will definitely come again

I knew this place since 2016 but never had a chance to stop by. Then last week i went through down the area and got hungry at around about 10 pm, we googling and want to eat fried rice. Then touch down this apjay. The place has no sign of apjay just see by maps. Apjay is 1 area with mini market. Place is not clean but ok la street food. Many people eat here and take away. I like it. The taste is more delicious than the other brand. Will come back here again but after eat my throat feels oily and need to throw the sputum lol

Delicious and affordable! The Nasi Goreng Kebuli here is cooked over charcoal, giving it a rich, smoky flavor with aromatic spices and generous portions. In my opinion, it's even tastier than the famous Nasi Goreng Kebuli Kebon Sirih in Central Jakarta. Be prepared for limited seating, long queues, and cash-only payment — but trust me, it’s worth it!

The nasi goreng was good. I ordered telur dadar bebek, turns out it's not as good as chicken egg. The only downside with the place is the waiting time. I waited almost 1 hour for my order to be done. They use Indonesian rice which is different with middle eastern rice that's long shaped. But I think they nail the Kebuli taste. Ati ampela was okay.

Actually the taste was really good. Price was also okay. Located near another street food stalls and convinience store, so you can easily find a parking space for your vehicle. I noticed that most people order Nasi Goreng Kebuli Apjay through Grab/Gofood, and the take-away packaging was also nice. A little downside was, like most of the street food stall, there were insects. But still love it
